President Obama’s NAFTA-Style Trade Deal with Korea is Bad for America

+ Even Free Traders Oppose It: Opposition is gaining among grassroots activists who historically opposed NAFTA, those who are alarmed at the violation of U.S. sovereignty, and even among conservative/libertarian “free traders” who now admit that the NAFTA-style Korea trade deal is not a true free-trade agreement. It has been widely opposed by numerous business sectors in the U.S., including agriculture, ranching & manufacturing, as well as Constitutional experts & trade union members (in opposition to union bosses).

+ Playing Political Hardball with U.S. Sovereignty: President Obama says that his NAFTA-style trade pact with Korea is about increasing exports for U.S. firms. Instead, the agreement, written by unelected trade bureaucrats, spans 1,000 pages of rules and regulations to which every state and the federal government are required to conform our laws and policies.

+ Obama Counting on Republicans to Cross Party Line: President Obama is counting heavily on Republicans to cross party lines to deliver him a major political victory by passing his NAFTA with Korea – because most of his own party opposes it.

About the Korea NAFTA

Barack Obama is pushing a NAFTA-Style Korea Free Trade agreement that would undermine America's sovereignty, laws and economy. No true conservative or Constitutionalist should support this agreement because it sells out U.S. Sovereignty.

Even if you support free trade, this agreement is NOT real free trade. This deal would:

  • Kill almost 160,000 U.S. jobs;
  • Increase our trade deficit by $6.7 billion;
  • Allow foreign corporations to drag the U.S. before U.N. and World Bank tribunals;
  • Undermine states' rights with hundreds of state laws and regulations forced to comply with the agreement.

We must stop the NAFTA-style Korea trade agreement. Learn more about the deal and then help stop it from passing.
